What To Do With Constipation?

Hello Friends, I had a great evening with Richard lots of catching up as we haven’t seen each other in a while and now he is moving out of London. I didn’t spend the whole evening cooking either – thank goodness – the Lemon and Dill Trout came out succulent and very tasty…simply delicious. I am in the process of putting the recipe on my site very shortly. 
Today I went to visit a good friend who has just had a beautiful baby boy unfortunately she is suffering from constipation. Constipation can be very common for women who are pregnant which is incredibly uncomfortable and sometimes painful. It can be attributed to a host of things: drinking too little water, too little fibre in diet, not enough exercise, or even with taking certain iron supplements. So I gave her a tip of taking one teaspoon of whole flax / linseeds which is then added to a small glass of water over night. This mixture is then drunk the following morning along with your breakfast. This mixture can appear to be quite gross as it is very gloopy however it has no taste so just close your eyes and drink it….it’s so worth it. This mixture only works really well when at least 1.5 litres of water is drunk during the day. The mixture can be drunk once a day for a week and you may find your constipation starts to clear up….or should I say You start clearing up.
